About Cork Recycling

Here’s how it works. Cork Tree Creative, a St. Louis public relations and marketing firm and the creator of the Rewind Your Wine Program, has rallied retailers, grocers and wineries (Pioneers) in the St. Louis region to assist in gathering wine corks at their events and from consumers. Cork Tree Creative picks up the corks from these Pioneers and transports them to Yemm & Hart, a Missouri based company that recycles corks into LEED certified building materials. Examples of LEED materials created from the recycled corks include cork tiles and partitions.
